Puggle Wuggle Obsessions

In case none of you know, a Puggle Wuggle is a gigantic fluffy dog that looks a lot like this:

Besides his ego, this dog is one of Andres' many obsessions. Once you mention this adorable creature, he goes insane and would not stop talking about it. He would drop everything else just to talk about the Puggle Wuggle. He would also shout out its name constantly. This time, hes thinking of creating a costume that looks a lot like the big fluffy animal pictured above.

I'm pretty sure that there are people out there that have obsessions just as weird as his, some don't go crazy as he does but it is understandable to want a dog like this (even though a pup costs $1,000). In our group we have learned skills that have helped us deal with people that are obsessed with something. Here are the top five lessons we've learned when dealing with him and his obsession. This list was co-written by Andres' girlfriend Elisa.

1. Let them be. Let them have their moment, you'll learn to zone them out. 

2. Don't mention it quite as often or try to avoid the subject. There's a reason why they are obsessed       with it and will not hesitate to tell you why.

3. It's a good laugh to see what they're obsessed with. Fair warning, it gets old pretty fast.

4. Understand that they'll try to convince you that it's the next best thing since One Direction. :P

5. Despite their obsessions, love them anyways. They are people, and people have quirks and                   obsessions that they feel most passionate about. The best thing that you can do is to love them for       who they are and look past their flaws and obsessions that do not align with yours. 

Everybody has their own obsession, Elisa has One Direction, Alex has Back to the Future, Brett has his memes, Mykenze has Harry Potter, Jeffery has Fallout, Rue has Star Wars, Audrie's obsessed with Brett, and Andres has his Puggle Wuggle. It is difficult to separate an individual from what they feel so passionate about, and the best thing that we can do is to be happy for them and obsess with them.
